How I work

I’m Dr. Meena Verma, board-certified in internal medicine, nephrology, clinical hypertension, and obesity medicine. For more than 12 years I cared for patients with complex, advanced disease, often after the damage to the heart, kidneys, and blood vessels was already done. I started Blue Coast Longevity to work at the other end: finding and addressing risk years before it becomes disease.

I keep my practice intentionally small so I can work closely with every patient. We begin with extensive lab work, a DEXA scan, and fitness testing, followed by an in-person visit of more than an hour to go through it all together. From there, I build a plan aimed at the root causes of your risk. It may include medications, hormones, peptides, or other targeted therapies, but only where they make sense for you.

As we continue working together, we go deeper with advanced diagnostics: AI-guided Cleerly coronary imaging to assess cardiovascular risk, genomics, and blood-based cancer screening. I interpret every result with you and act on what we find.

You’ll have my direct line. If you’d rather work with a physician than follow a program, we should talk.

Research & Publications

Dr. Verma has contributed to peer-reviewed research in metabolic health, cardiovascular outcomes in chronic diseases, systems biology, and related fields — foundational knowledge that directly informs modern longevity medicine. Her work emphasized early intervention in metabolic and inflammatory pathways to prevent decline, a principle that drives Blue Coast Longevity’s focus on optimizing biological age, hormone balance, and performance before symptoms arise.

Invited Speaker & Key Presentations

These contributions reflect Dr. Verma’s deep-rooted commitment to evidence-based medicine and understanding complex metabolic/immunological systems. Today at Blue Coast Longevity, she applies these principles through advanced diagnostics (biological age testing, VO₂ max, DEXA trends), targeted interventions (peptides, hormone optimization, metabolic tracking), and personalized plans to help high-achievers maintain peak performance and reverse subtle declines — turning scientific insight into real-world longevity advantages.
